I hope you all are having an amazing Friday thus far.
So I purchased a real techniques sponge EVENTUALLY because I really don’t like to import items because of the delivery times. But I found some lovely ladies on instagram who do import these items and I immediately went for this as my 1st purchase.
I got it from the amazing people @mymakeupessentials (check them out if you are in SA and wanting to purchase the makeup items that are not readily available here)
Now the sponge
I am firstly so grateful it is not pink, one of the reasons I didn’t get the beautyblender, now that I found it in black I will be placing my order.
This sponge is so soft , I was using the dupe sponge from UBU at Clicks
and it was perfect until this sponge arrived…
My foundation is even more flawless, all the different angles means I actually don’t need all the brushes I have in my collection, aside from eye shadow.
The 1 down side is that it retains some product, but still not like you’re using a bottle of foundation and I find that even though the liquid foundation is retained in the sponge if you use a dabbing or pressing motion it still applies the product flawlessly to your skin.
Also I love when I wash it the way it squishes…it feels like a medicine ball to me 😀
If you were planning on getting one do it…these ladies have them for R150.00 each and you pay for postage, depending on your area, I paid R25.00 and received my sponge within 3 days.
It really is worth it in my opinion , considering the clicks dupe is R110.00.
