Glossybox November 2017 Unboxed

So this past week has been a bit crazy, I had lot’s going on personally. But I am back now and hoping to get a lot more posts out by 31 December so that 2018 will bring a fresh start. Thank you for sticking around, and to all my friends and family, thank you for your support, it is appreciated always! Let’s get into Glossybox November 2017 Unboxed

So let’s get into this unboxing.

The theme of the box this month is ‘Grateful’ and in lieu of the fact that its Thanks Giving month, it’s perfect. But since I don’t celebrate it, I thought it would be just another theme. Turns out I have lots to be grateful for, it’s so sad that sometimes tragedy has to strike for us to understand gratitude. For me the gratitude is not so much about the people I have in my life and love dearly it’s more about circumstance and the type of life I lead. Let me know what you are most grateful for, down in the comments section.

Laqa & Co – Lip Cloud in the shade ‘DayDream’

I haven’t swatched any of the lip and eyeshadow products this in this months’ boxes because I plan to do some giveaways. But this shade is a very pretty mauve toned shade. For my skin tone, it would be more of a naturally blushed lip colour. This packaging is so gorgeous like I’ve said before, Rose Gold and Copper metallic colours are my current jam, and it would look stunning amongst all the other rose gold stuff on my desk.

Nature Queen – Shampoo & Conditioner

I love getting hair products in subscription boxes, especially brands that are either not readily available here. This would fall into both categories. I will have to do an update on how the products actually work, but this scent is putting me off hardcore. It smells like essential oils, not very feminine or pretty at all. But I will still try it out, it could possibly be a hidden gem…

Tartiest – Eyebrow Gel

To be honest, this is the item I wanted most in this box. I mean brow gel, is brow gel. I haven’t yet found one that wowed me. But based on my experience thus far with this brand, I don’t think it would be a fail. In fact, I think I am going to enjoy it.

Kat von D – Sinner Perfume

Firstly, I love that this isn’t one of those super small samples you usually receive, I am disappointed that it is a pour bottle and doesn’t have a spray nozzle. This for me usually means a lot of mess and wasting. The scent itself is ok, not my usual first choice, but nice to try something, without the commitment of a full-size bottle. The full details of this perfume can be found on Sephora’s website, click here. And the full size retails for $65.00

Evio Beauty – Green Tea Primer

This is definitely something I have never heard of, so I had to google it. So I will definitely have to try the primer out to know if it works. On the Evio website, there are a lot more details on the primer. But it promises to reduce the look of fine lines and pores while being a hydrating primer. It retails for $29.00 if you’re keen to give it a go! More details available here.

Let me know what your favourite product was in the box this month?

I am sorry to advise that I will be cancelling glossy box. I have tried so hard to give this box a fair shot but in comparison to Boxycharm, it always is meh for me. What do you guys think? Cancel or Keep?
