Since this is my first one I don’t really know how I feel about it, but I will say that it is waaaaaay better than the usual ipsy, because full sized products is always better. But it comes at a cost!
So signing up to the Ipsy Glambag Plus
I was always an ipsy subscriber, then last month I decided to give this one a go. But when I upgraded I still got the normal bag, and the plus would only activate on the next billing cycle. So keep that in mind!
The Glambag plus is $25.00 instead of the $10, which I am told is now $12.
Aramex Shipping
The charges for this shipment was R304.00 instead of the usual R199.00 (for Boxycharm). I assume this is due to the size and weight. But I have a full post of that process HERE.

Paris Hilton – Pro DNA Dual-Action Cleansing gel
Ok I am not about drama and all, but when people have plastic surgery or rumors there of, can we really trust their skincare? I dunno I’m just asking. Anyway…
The packaging is very pretty and elegant. Has a foil safety seal, yay! Has a pleasant fragrance. We shall see about effectiveness.
Price – R481.43, their website auto converts the currency for you. But according to ipsy, it retails for $39.00. Already more than the cost of the box. You can read more on the product itself, here.
Ciaté London – Extraordinary Translucent Powder
I have seen this one on youtube and I won’t lie it was the thing I was most excited about. If you want a full review on this , let me know. Otherwise I can just share updates on my Instagram stories. I haven’t had a lot of luck with powder products, especially setting powders. Getting this in my glamnag plus was a bonus, just in case it’s not for me. So fingers crossed!
Again very pretty packaging! But that means nothing if I look 90 or the powder goes orange like most do on my skin.
Price – $22.00 on their website, which you can check out here. I know for a bit Ciaté was available on Foschini’s website, but I can’t find it anymore. Their website shows us the stockists, but I think mostly nail polish.
Ofra Madison Miller Midi Palette
Retail on this is $35.00, which you can find here. This is another one I am super keen to try because the Nikkie Tutorial highlight was spectacular, and I can’t wait to see how this one performs. So far we are off to real value here. Don’t you agree? Aside from the price, this box is competing well with Boxycharm.

Illamasqua Antimatter Lipstick
With the recent collab with Carli Bybel, I really want to try this so I am so torn! I want to add it to a giveaway, but also want to try it. The problem is I know I don’t wear many lipsticks! I don’t know what to do, I haven’t got a clue. I don’t know what to do (leave me a if you know this song) and let me know what you think, add to a giveaway or test and review?
This little one retails for only $10.00, shade I received is Solar.
Nomad Berlin Underground Intense eyeshadow palette
This one retails for $37 and I have to say I don’t own any of these shades. It looks like quite an intense and deep palette and I love it. The truth though is that I haven’t been wearing much eyeshadow recently, so I don’t know if I will put this to good use… But tekkno is a shade I’ve been looking for!!! Should I be a hoarder and keep it for one shade or just let it go!?
And lastly a sample of the Slow recipe sleeping mask – but I don’t know if I ordered this or it was just in the box lol.
So that was my first Ipsy Glambag Plus, I think I will keep the subscription for a few months then decide what to do. Aside from that shipping costs, I feel it is worth it so far.
