Boxycharm May 2019 Reveal + {Giveaway – Closed}

Welcome back so I thought I would do the Boxycharm May 2019 Reveal, since I haven’t done one in a while. And there’s a little something for you at the end. So this months’ box was very exciting to me, because I love 2 of the brands we got this month. Incase you wanted to know how you can sign up and the full process, click here.

So let’s get into it, also a note I am only showing what we received no real reviews here yet.

Glamglow – Gentle Bubble Cleanser

This package is so mesmerizing, I love it, and looks so pretty in the shower too. I have used it already of course and so far so good. The face wash itself is white, so no fancy colors or anything, but does have a kind of ‘mother of pearl’ shift to it. The smell is also not very interesting but it’s a cleanser so I don’t really care lol.

This one retails for $28 on Sephora, which is already more that the cost of the box, which is $21. I tried to find it here for you guys, but the only one I could find online is from Edgars, I don’t know if it’s just a package difference or is the cleanser different, but you can check it out here.

Dose of Colors – Liquid Lipstick

I got the shade berry me, which is not as deep as it is reflected on the box. And not really my kind of shade but I love this formula so much. My most used lip product to date has to be my dose of colors in Chocolate wasted. This one retails for $18 on the dose of colors website, incase you wanted to check this out. I can’t seem to find it here, but my usual go to place is muse beauty.

Ciaté London – Eye Lustre cream shadow

This is the first time I’ve heard of this eyeshadow, and don’t know how it will perform. But I do love the Ciaté liner, so I have high hopes. Wish me luck. This one you can check out here and it retails for $22. Once again we exceed the price of the box. If you received this and tried it, let me know in the comments how you feel about it.

Mellow Cosmetics – Brow Definer

Mellow is not a brand I’ve heard of yet, so I am keen to see how this one does. Plus I recently bought the wet and wild brow definer too, I think I will be doing a comparison and maybe include the benefit cosmetics one too. Let me know if that would interest you?

The shade doesn’t look bad at all, this triangle tip though is not my fav. But I’m going to give it a shot and see how that goes, maybe the formula will surprise us all. This little guy retails for $18 on their website.

And last but certainly not least.

Alamar cosmetics blush palette

This brand seems to be featured a lot in Boxycharm, but considering Gabi (the creator) worked for Boxycharm, I guess it’s to be expected. The eyeshadows were pretty awesome as well as the brushes we received in previous Boxycharm boxes so I have some expectations for this blushes.

But I also am considering not using it and including it in a giveaway because I have so much. I don’t know, let me know if this kind of thing would interest you guys.

Anyway it retails for $22 on the Alamar website.

Total value of this box is a whopping $108 and as at today that’s R1599.00. For more perspective, my account was debited with R380 for the box and then R199.00 to Aramex for shipping. aside from the mellow cosmetics , these brands are pretty popular and not cheap hey. So for me it’s a total bargain.
