Boxycharm August 2018 Unboxing + Giveaway {Closed}

Welcome back. I know there are soooo many unboxings online but it seems now that we don’t all receive exactly the same box anymore. So I decided to do the Boxycharm august 2018 unboxing, and if you don’t like these please let me know in the comments. I really don’t want to be writing posts no one wants to read, obviously.

There is a little something, something for you too, so stay tuned. Anyway, let’s get into this months’ Boxycharm.

Boxycharm: August 2018 Unboxing

First of all for those of who don’t know Boxycharm is a monthly beauty subscription where you pay $21 a month and receive 5-6 Full sized or at least deluxe sample sized products. This is not a South African subscription so you will have to get it shipped here somehow, but that will not be done by Boxycharm as they are currently only shipping to the U.S.

So how do I get it here? I subscribe to Aramex Global Shopper, which I explain in this post.

Then this month was a bit of an annoyance because boxycharm sent out cuticle oils, some of which came in a nail polish looking bottle. My box was deemed unacceptable, but Aramex does communicate this when it happens. So I simply sent them an email to open the box and remove the “unacceptable” item and ship the rest which they did.

Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick – $21

I received this lipstick in the shade Straight up, which I am so happy about. I generally love browns and nudes, so this is right up my alley. But since autumn is almost over it’s a little late but no worries there’s always next year! And I will definitely be using it then. In terms of formula, I will have to do a review on it after I have actually tested it out.

What I can tell you is that I am not the biggest fan of a bullet style lipstick, I much prefer a liquid lipstick, especially when I want it to last a long time.

House of Lashes – $9

This one came in the style, Bambie. Right off the bat, it’s long! I have said it before, I am not a false lash type of person but it is always nice to have, and much like makeup brushes I love receiving them in my subscriptions in case I need them one day. But it’s not something I typically go out and buy. The thing with lashes is that it’s such a pain to apply but can certainly elevate an eyeshadow look for sure.

Wander beauty – Baggage claim gold eye masks $13

This is something I actually received in my May 2018 allure box. So I have tried these and I actually do enjoy it. I just wish it was readily available to purchase here :(. I didn’t see a difference in the dark circle but it certainly left my under eyes moisturized and plump. For $13 I don’t think it’s too badly priced either considering it’s gold eye masks. I just wouldn’t pay $13 for 3 and Aramex shipping though, that’s a bit ridiculous.

Bang Beauty – Chocolate liner $22

I love black eyeliner end of story. I don’t know if this will even show up but I am not opposed to trying it because after all, that’s why I get subscription boxes. So I can try new products or even discover some. I have a feeling I will end up donating this to a friend but, on the other hand, it could end up in the daily drawer! Who knows…

Laura Lee – Party Animal Eyeshadow palette – $19

What an interesting shadow palette it is super bold and bright! To be honest these are not colours I would typically use and since I decided I am no longer holding on to make up that I know I won’t use, this little guy will be given away! The colours certainly are beautiful but I also have the Morphe 35B palette so this is totally unnecessary. I hope y9ou’ve enjoyed the Boxycharm August 2018 Unboxing
